Not been used, those scratch-marks on the blade serve a purpose and were designed in Ibach.
It wouldn't be the internet without people complaining.

It's cheaper to buy a ticket to NY, stay in a hotel for two nights and buy a couple of Spartans while I'm there.
Sounds like a plan.

I've bought a lot on that site, too bad that almost no sellers use PayPal. Bank transfer fees are sometimes as high as the price of the item

 :ahhh

Probably an error in the listing.. the seller has regular prices on other stuff: http://www.ebay.com.my/itm/100-Swiss-Army-Victorinox-Pocket-Knife-Lot-All-Larger-Knives-SAK-TSA-/161658223639?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item25a394bc17

I believe I have heard sellers purposely do this to keep the listing up until they get more in stock. No one will pay that much and they do not have to close the listing then post everything again once they get more.
I'm the milk man!

I'm always suspicious when there is only one bider on a high price auction. That one bider can a be a seller friend building up the price so when they put that same item up for auction again, there is a new high reference price.  Back in April there was one sold in US eBay for less than the US$1,600 the seller originally wanted. http://www.ebay.com/itm/181697879801?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

And the items was for sale for a long time too.

I have the same thinking too, that all these atrocious prices do not reflect the true demand-supply situation. Potential buyers, especially for such rare and expensive SAKs, often refer to past records of ebay transactions. By using two accounts to put up the auction and then jack up the price, a seller creates the false impression that the particular model in his possession is actually worth that much, so that buyers will jump into it the next time they see it put up for sale again.

Yes, it would be easy to set up two paypal accounts and make the transactions look legitimate.  Be careful out there.
