Nikon bag that's with the D3100 kit. What would only fit in is a camera with 18-55mm lens

Benro cam bag :

It's changed a little bit, I've since sold my 85mm 1.8 AFD and upgraded to the new 85mm 1.4 AFS. I also changed up all the SB800s on the light side to SB900s and the 800s go into my lighting bag exclusively.

I use the 30L Kiboko Camera bag, highly modified interior for all my gear. I basically can do any job with almost any subject with this bag. It weighs about 35 lbs, and it only gets worn about 15 mins at a time!

Anyways, feel free to start calling me the super nerd...annnnny minute now.

Did you post a video of your camera bag?  Two videos?

I have one of these for storage or if I want to haul the complete kit around: http://www.digitalcamerawarehouse.com.au/prod1150.htm

Man I think I could fill this thread with the different bags I have.  Have not really been active in photography for a while (sak pictures on the desk and floor with the P&S don't really count) so I don't actually have a current working bag. Hmmm might be fun to do some bag shots and get me thinking about what my shoulders could handle today.

I found the videos to be highly entertaining.  Nice job, geek!  :)

That really is impressive how much useful stuff you got in there.   How much does the whole thing weigh?

My current "EDC" camera bag is a Think Tank Retrospective 30. I use a backpack for big jobs and a belt pouch system for sports, though. Did this pic last week.

I am in the same boat as ICanFixThat.

However, here is my bag list if anyone cares.

-Pelican 1650 hard case with dividers and lid organizer. (Where I keep most of my Canon system gear in).

-Tenba LL300 long lens soft case. (The Bigma's home...just enough room for that and a Canon camera body for field work).

-Tamerac Pro12 soft case. (Where I keep most of my Pentax system gear in).

-Lowepro TLZ PRO AW. (My field bag when I want to travel light with a zoom lens or two for either the Canon or Pentax gear + flash).

-Lowepro Nova 1 AW. (Home for the Canon G12).

-Lowepro EX 180. (Where I keep all of my Samsung NX system gear in).

-Lowepro Edit 120. (A rotation bag that I use when I need it).

I think that about covers it.

I've always been a Lowepro fan, super tough bags with ample padding, dividers and all of mine are the AW series with the rain/dust fly as well.

I've got;

-Lowepro  Magnum for a shoulder bag for location portrait shoots, and youth sports.  It's my "work" bag for paid jobs, the rest are for my hobby.

-Nature Trekker for hiking with the whole kit including the big 500/f4 lens.

-Rover for hiking or around town without the big lens, it only fits a 70-200/2.8, and 2-3 small lenses.

-Topload 75 for a chestpack when backpacking it fits the 70-200 and I'll stick the flash and 16-35 and 50 prime in Lowepro lens cases on one side of my backpack and tripod on the other.  I've never figured out a good way to carry the big 500mm backpacking yet so it stays home.

Used to have a Mini Trekker as well but sold it.  Only issue I've ever had was a broken zipper slide on the Nature Trekker and Lowepro warrantied it with no hassle.

I'll hijack this thread for a bit to get some feedback from the pro's... :D

My GF recently bought a 35mm prime for her Pentax K-7 which she now wants to carry along with the kit 18-55 lens, and the bag she had till then (Chrissy's Kata C-56) cannot fit both these lenses and the camera. Thus I'm on the market for a new camera bag... ::)

The new bag must be as small as possible, inconspicuous, and not look like a camera bag. Ideally it should also have some stabilization strap and whatnot as we usually ride our bikes to wherever the next "photo shoot" is... ::) She currently uses a Vic bag (discontinued Deluxe Vertical Travel Companion) which she loves as it covers her two "musts", but it offers no protection as it has no padding (and adding padding would make it too small for her gear).

So far, we have narrowed it down to the following (in alphabetical order):Unfortunately none of these are in stock in local shops so we can't try and see which one is the best for her... I was also thinking about lining a Lunada I don't use anymore with some foam, but swmbo thinks it's too "militarish" for her. ::)

So... any owners of the above bags care to comment? Any other suggestions?

umm...the last time I checked..it weighed about 50 lbs.

I don't carry it very far, most from the trunk to location and back ;)
