Nope, just drill and grind to shape.

 I did this a while ago, it is a worth while mod, but I snapped my hacksaw and haven't made a new one.  I did have a little trouble sometimes of the thin blade not engaging in the lock when there were too many tools stuffed in, making the handles a bit wider than the lock.
