Also even after the tail trim, the dang thing is still 6 3/4" closed!

I shortened the top blade and added a finger choil to the bottom one (and Oak scales) so they are under 3”





Love the finger choil mod Tony  :tu:

Those edges look a bit smoother now  :tu:

Heh I did went a bit overboard with the sander, it's now around 20° inclusive. The edge on the other side is a bit more dramatic due to the low primary grind.

I had one for a couple of years and then last month I swapped it for something I thought was a fair swap, but it turned out to be crappy. I really regret it.

Mine had wooden scales, and once you've worked on them a bit it's pretty comfortable to use, and the steel is fantastic at taking an edge. I'd recommend them for the money.
