Capt. Jules Extraordinary Telescope Ring

Just found this interesting Telescope Ring




It also can be used as a regular magnifying glass


Capt. Jules’ Extraordinary Telescope Ring includes:

- Two lenses fold out and then slide apart to correct focal length
- The larger lens can be folded 180 degrees to act as a magnifying lens
- A small magnetic compass is in the main body of the ring

Seriously, where did you get this cool gizmo?  When do you figure it was made?  Any manufacturer's mark?
Would you trade it for a hornhandled Victoria Spartan?
