I've had cats before that drink from the toilet. One of our cats likes to drink my beer. My parents cat likes to lick beer as well.
I knew my wife was a keeper when she transitioned from calling it a knife thingy to a multi-tool.

This is Fred,  Just over a year after losing Bob (my last cat) to a snake I decided it was time to appoint a successor.  He's not a replacement, it doesn't work like that.

Fred is 5 years old and I adopted him from the RSPCA, they named him but I think it's cool.
Unlike other cats I've had where even just moving house prompted them to find a hidey-hole for a week he settled right in as new owner as soon as he stepped out of the carry box.

This photo was taken of him sitting beside me on the couch less than an hour after I got him. He slept on the bed the first night.

Good on you for adopting, and even better for adopting an older cat instead of getting a kitten.  There is a special place in Heaven for people that do that.

All of my dogs have been rescue dogs, and Megan's cat and dog were also rescues.

Fred looks like a great cat- very confident is he has moved in and made himself at home!

Rosie and I went for a great walk around our local frozen lake today. She had a blast chasing sticks and eating snow. It is a beautiful sunny winter day today  :tu:

Milo had a bath today after rolling in fox poo, and all his bedding and blankets washed too. He's not happy about it  :D

Hell yes, that stuff smells nasty. I don't know why dogs love rolling in it so much.  He smells of Johnsons baby shampoo now.

Hopefully he won't go rolling in it again today, we are going walking at the same place.

Her name is Rapunzel. She's a stray that flew into my house on my wife's birthday. My wife and me gave her a new home.
She mostly spends her time in a cage, but she can roam free indoors a few times daily. I think she's nearing a point where I can let her loose outside, and she would come back. In a few more weeks, once temps stay up, I will let her decide herself if she want to stay with us as a free bird, or not.


I like tropical plants, now I also have a tropical bird.  :)

I was told dogs like rolling in poo precisely because they hate the smell of shampoo. Just because humans like it doesn't mean dogs do too.
