Excellent grasp of popular culture my friend!!!  :2tu:

I read all the books, including the ones where Brian Herbert (Frank's son) and Kevin J Anderson teamed up and wrote other books in the Dune universe.

then you have the movie, different, but not bad.

I LOVE DUNE
If I can help, let me know

I remember seeing the movie in theaters and they handed out reference sheets to those who haven't read the books

The Robertson bit in my bit kit has seen some action as of late.  I got some flat pack furniture from a Canuck outfit called South Shore, and all the hardware for them are square drive with little flutes in the corners for a Phillips.  They're actually much easier to turn with the square bits.  I'd probably have cussed myself evicted if I had to use a Phillips bit on these.

Used my Juice S2 scissors to cut out a test fit template for a possible 'F' type connector spanner to go in my recently made knifeless Rebar.   Looks as if it is a goer.  Naturally I used the Rebar awl to punch the hole.

100 up, Yay.

Not exactly what it was designed for, but I picked a whole bunch of lemons with the rebar today.

Going to make a lemon meringue pie tomorrow.

Yum!! I ate most of a real good lemon cake yesterday.

I'm a bit disappointed with the Rebar though, the serrated blade bent.

ST300 was needed to turn a stuck thumb screw then most interestingly,
I used my LM bit extender to turn an old crank out window when I couldn't find the crank.

I used the phillips on my KF4 to open the battery compartment on a toy for my son.  I swear this child uses more batteries than I do.

Don't think I posted this here yet.  But there's nothing better than using your Leatherman for dining duties whilst on holiday.  There were plenty of regular knives around, but that's not the point, is it?

My little LM Squirt went to work on some zip ties.  I put up a barrier so my dog can't get thru a fence and used a lot of zip ties.  The LM Squirt wire cutters ate them up and spit them out no problem.

Yesterday, I used:

My Blast to help with cleaning up after painting: used the knife and pliers to help removing tape

The serrated blade on my Wave and the blade of my MUT to cut floor isolation boards (and my finger  )

I used my new CS4's saw to cut vines in my backyard. They were starting to overtake my tree and fence.

I had to run a new cable from my satellite dish to my basement. The replaceable cutters on my  "Re-Wave" cut through the coaxial like nobody's business!

Nurse Micra supplied the scalpel and tweezers to get rid of a nasty splinter on my finger. Surgery was a success.

Surge aided me in making a set of shelves out of a pallet. The shoptoad helped a bit. Mainly it just set there and watched.
