Cutting an orange for lunch.

Is that a huge brake disc you're using as a table there?
Yes. It is.

It's looking a bit rough, it could do with a skim.

Or you could see if you can dress the surface with your wave file
Zoom in and look at the cracks. Need some body filler.

:o That thing is bigger than any disc brake I have ever messed with :ahhh
You would not want to use this one as a doorstop
Yes it's quite big. And bloody heavy.

Our seedless eating grapes are now ripe so I used my poor abused Juice to cut some for eating:

The scissors are like a razor so cutting these from the vine is very easy.  A note aside, the grapes are about 2 weeks early this year.

my youngest got through the fence (again), so used my KSJ to cut some rusty barbed wire to rescue him, and again to cut the new wire to repair the damage so he can't go exploring again.  The juice does pretty good with lighter wires.

A few tools were out to play today.

Surge pliers to shorten the chain on a geocaching travel bug dog tag.

Micra scissors to cut bubble wrap and packing tape.

Rebar saw to trim a dead branch off a tree that was hanging down over the entrance path to the place I walked my Yorkie.

Used the knifeless rebar (with a pioneer for the knife part) to fit a new plug onto our office henry the hoover.

The one fitted was damaged somehow

so I replaced it with a new one so I could vacuum my office floor now the cleaners don't do it (and seeing as made the mess)

As a side note, 800 hermesetas sweetners certainly spread out well when knocked over

The hermesetas I spilled first, and I may (or may not) have crunched a plug pin yanking it when it snagged while getting henry out the cleaners cupboard.

All fixed and PAT tested properly and my office looks tidy again.

Being lazy putting new laces in my walking shoes and boots. I just cut up the centre with the micra scissors to remove the old ones.

What did I intend to use it for? Cut some rubber band to finish the slingshot I started the other day
Whad did I actually use it for? Cut myself badly in the thumb  :(

My fault, I learned today that rubbery, elastic things and blades are an accident waiting to happen!

Nothing a bit of superglue won't heal, though

Used the saw, in a bind it works. Never has prmerformed great imo. But it works, saved me a trip to the van. So the multi did exactly what it does and is why I carry them.  :tu: :tu:

I used the wire cutters and serrated blade on my Rebar to dismantle ties on a box for a doll yesterday at a Christmas function.
I knew my wife was a keeper when she transitioned from calling it a knife thingy to a multi-tool.

Used the wingman small flathead to screw a steering wheel on my sons gift last night. Was the closest tool in reach... worked perfect.

Used the Mini Tool for a couple things today:

My old Wiss USA scissors that have been in my family since my great grandmother were a bit tight, so I used the big driver on the end of the file to adjust them.

My grandparents had propane delivered today, and I had to remove the tamperproofing we had to put on the fence (ever since the lunatic my father married's German Shepherd/hound cross pulled my Boston Terrier through a fence, we've had to tamperproof most of the gates to prevent anything from getting through gaps between the closed gates), which on that gate, is two crossed rubber tie-downs.  I'd got them off with no trouble to let the truck driver through with the hose, but I had to get a little more grip with the Mini's pliers to get them back on.

In college, I used my Mini Tool's pliers  to carry a very hot Hot Pocket to the table on the other end of the building from the microwave.
