Swisstool
« on: May 13, 2012, 09:57:51 AM »
good tip, plier is handy for fishing aswell, no surprise its a SwissTool ,...the regular pliers for taking out the fishing hooks works ok and one get them in a many qualities and sizes, with length one can take the deepest hooks in a fish, however not very comfortable to use in any length since they slide,

SwissTool plier one get that very firm grip and it does not slide at all, many of the tripple hooks is triangle shaped so a usually hook removers with small narrow tips "slide" ,...

Plier is also very handy to bend a hook that is not in the correct shape (bend out for example)Some bend them by hand or pushing it agains a hard surface, be careful this is when accidents happen, not pretty,..One can bend a hook once without to much damage on it (two times and the hook must be replaced. Also on the Swisstool the fine screwdriver is very handy for the rings, believe me rusted rings are nailbreakers deluxe,..
The screwdrivers very handy for maintenance on gear aswell, not forget the blades,...This multitool have great rust and corrosion abilites no doubt ,....

Ps the leather sheath in black format i have used on the belt and nothing negative to say,

Nice photos and examples.  I think many people have figured out that the SwissTools also make great (maybe the best) outdoor tools.  Many people would pair it with a nice fixed blade of their choice and be a happy camper.
