Recomend me a new multitool.

Hey guys I am having quite a hard time finding the perfect multitool for me. I currently carry a crkt zilla jr among other things. Some of the complaints that I have on the crkt zilla are as follows, The pliers are not very good, The bits are a non standard size, The blade is really weak, It feels like there is wasted space on the tool, I dislike the build quailty.
The things that I like about the zilla jr are the blade seems to hold and edge quite well. It is pretty small, I like the spring loaded pliers. It has all of the tools that I want on it.
The things that I want my new multitool to have are: knife, pliers, a good bit driver.
Edit: also I should say that I have been considering a crkt zilla NOT zilla jr.
Could you help me out?
Thanks

Good bit driver (ability), awesome pliers, okay knife... SOG Powerlock, with a 1/4" socket to hex bit adapter.
You'll be hard-pressed, I think, to find spring-loaded pliers in the upper end MTs.
A good number of the larger MTs also have addapters you can add on to get hex bit capability; most of the bigger Leatherman MTs for instance.
I'm not much of a blade person myself, so someone else can probably rattle off the steels on various tools for you.

I am thinking that the powerlock is too heavy and large. Also I do not like that the bit driver is not replaceable.

Nice try though.

The bit driver... and every OTHER tool on it, ARE all replaceable.
If you want smaller, maybe the Pocket Power Plier, get the socket driver for it, remove the (worthless) can opener, and maybe swap the awl to the other side (losing one short tool there), or just ditching the phillips.
For that 'no space wasted' feeling, I think Leatherman might be it for you. Maybe get a Rebar with the bit adapter. Or a Charge TTi with bit driver extender (to use standard hex bits).

Have you had a look at the swiss grip or mini grip tools from Wenger?

If its full size i would say a leatherman wave, but if you wont replceable tools then a sog paratool, and as lynn said the bit driver is replaceable and sog sell lots of extras, the pt doesnt come with the 1/4 bit driver but you can add it,

I will second the Skeletool. If all you need are a pair of pliers, a knife, and a bit driver, the Skeletool should meet your needs nicely.

Amici,
How about a Leatherman Juice S2? They come in quite handy and a little more versatile than the Skeletool..
Cheers,

I am thinking that I dont want a full size. My new tool needs to share my left front pocket with my flashlight, keys and wallet.
Is the bit driver on the skeletool a full size?

Yes and no. They are Leatherman's special flat drivers. You can however buy extras or accessory sets at most places that sell Leatherman tools.

The leatherman bits are pretty easy to come by, and they work well.
