To me, it's perfect for the pocket. Probably because my Leatherman progression went:

PST (lost) > Wave > Rebar

When I brought home the Wave, it felt ginormous. I picked up a Skeletool for something lighter but it's more a pocket knive with a couple of extras rather than a multitool in my opinion. The Rebar hits the sweet spot in function and size, for me at least. :)

Same for me. I carry mine in my pocket with keys, lighter, and a folder clipped to my pocket with no problems.

Introducing the Rebar PS(V)

Thought I could fit a Victorinox 84mm scissors which I had available.

Nice! Got more pics of the closed scissors in the handle?

Pic of the scissors sitting in the tool bay, also the serrated knife beside the wood saw.

Need to correct something, scissors are from a 91mm SAK not a 84mm.  Apologies.

Thanks Pingu.  I was eyeing up my Rebar a couple of weeks ago, wondering if the Vic scissors would fit.  I may give that a go. :tu:

I thought the same. Mine got a twin brother, then they both got another twin brother.

I have been carrying my rebar as primary edc for about seven months now, and I really like it.  Its about perfect for me really, I don't need much else.

I've been carrying my BO Fuse a little bit but have swapped back to the Rebar to find I don't like the way it feels as much as the Fuse (despite them being the same size).

It's all due to the locks. I think I'm going to grind the sharp corners off the Rebar's ones and see if that improves it. They do actually stick out quite a way.

I really like what you've done with that rebar there Pingu. I wish my one had scissors. If I ever get a second one I might consider frankensteining the first one.

The Rebar rocks! I have been using mine exclusively as my only MT for a while now and I am not disappointed.

Most of what I read on here is good about it. I keep a Rebar in both of my EDC kits. I hope you enjoy yours :)

im going to EDC it for a while and see how I like it. So far it's very compact and comfortable to carry. No SAK in your EDC?

Not lately. I mean I always have my alox classic on my keys, but besides that I have not carried a SAK in quite some time.

I didn't deem it necessary to change or re-contour any part but I did use a hard Arkansas stone to "knock off the sharp edges". I'm not sure this picture will show this or not,but take a look.

I've been building a foxhole radio for a bit of fun (haven't got it working yet :( ) and the rebars electrical crimpers have been coming in handy.

First post.... Just recently found this site,  and decided to join.   Sorry for r the first post to be a question,  but where is the wire crimper?   Is it just the pinch point behind the pliers?

Thanks for the answer.   I can see,  after signing into this forum on a device with a larger screen,  that rimfire was demonstrating this in his photo.   Did not notice that on my small phone screen,  sorry.   Anyway,  I didn't know they were there.  My wife bought me a rebar two weeks ago,  so it's new to me.   I'm going to use it to replace my kick that I've had a while since it's not much heavier than the kick ,  but feels much better suited to the daily grind I use it for.  Plus better cutters,  a file which I've found use for every day,  and it fits perfect in my old kick sheath.   Good info on here,  I'm glad I found this site.   Was also just looking at jafrommn posts about  his rebar and super tool experiences.   Awesome.  Thanks for letting me on here.
