Really liking the XE6
« on: November 21, 2006, 12:15:33 AM »
I was warned that the XE6 was actually pretty big, especially for a Juice model, and it is, but I am actually really getting into it.  The wide handles are really comfortable on the hands, although I am a little concerned abotu grabbing something really hard with the smaller plier head.

It's actually a really good tool, and will probably replace my Kf4 in my EDc.

Anyone else have an XE6, and what are your thoughts on it?

The XE6 is a really beefy tool and would make a fine edc for a suit. The Leatherman I carry is the S2 with a leather sheath when I go to lodge and wear a tux. i allways wanted one of the  KF4 but sat on my butt to long and now they are gone. Bummer.

As for the small head dont worry, it has pleanty of grip for small prodjects.

I've got one, but I must admit, I never really gave it a fair chance at EDC. I just figured it was too dang big. I'll give it another try though, and let you know.
In order to be certain of having the right tool for every job.........one must first acquire a lot of tools

I've got one and like J-Sews I've never really carried it that much, mainly because I like my Charge more.
