I EDC a PPP, this is the club for me!

I took out my can opener after shearing off the screwdrive tip and put a Robertson in its place. I also took out the combo blade in favor of a fully serrated blade. While the implements do leave a bit to be desired, the compound leverage is just too dang good.

C'mon, SOG, make a PPP with gear covers and locking tools.

Im with you on the gear covers  :tu: i also wish sog would do a update or another similar mt like the ppp but with wider handles so you can have large tools both sides of the handles, more like a mini power pliers  :tu: but iam a fan of the ppp and ive replaced the blade/serrated for a wood saw and put scissors in place of the file (not sog scissors) combined with my opie #5 this set up works well for me  :tu:

i got sog scissors for my powerlock...   never bothered using once i finally installed it properly and tested it out.

What makes the PPP so good is its size/weight wider handles for extra tools may effect this?

If i look at my blast it is considerably bulkier and heavier than my PPP. I think if you add width you need to thicken the metal to strengthern the overall structure ro withstand the external twisty-torque-something-technical-sounding-but-the wording eludes-me

As for my powerlock scissor oh they work, just not as well as any other scissors i've come across in various brand pocket knives or plier based multitools.

Its ok cause SOG has compound leverage and damn that makes a difference. The replacable implents also nice. You can find you ultimate personal combination. and abuse them with the knowledge that if they do break then so what?

I have a PPP and want to make it similar to the above for EDC. Just can't get my head around what tools fit where etc.

Hi Zed,

A couple of Qs if you don't mind. The wood saw? I see it on HH site for sale but it's not for PPP? What did you have to do to make it fit?

What/where are the scissors from, again, where they hard to fit??

Oh dear, might be payday after payday. Had a slight DIY hicup today >:(

Who would think that taking a shower door frame off would pull down all the tiles under it and the plaster with it! Another quick job that's going to take a bit more work and money than expected.
