so they are 9mm in diameter x 75mm long

Out of curiosity I have just tried and the wooden handled ones are all small enough to fit in a tobacco tin
Yes it is ply Gareth,
They are all made of offcuts and bits I have rescued from skips etc
The ply is a good quality bit made with a lot of thin layers (I'm sure there is a proper name for this? maybe furniture ply?)
