Does anyone know how thick this knife is? Also, does anyone here have experience with it?

I'm trying to decide between it and the Rescue Tool from Victorinox.

Different Sorts of tools eh.
Sure you don't need both?

That U2 does look right nice.

I'm not allowed nice things, 'cause I breaks em- But if ever I was so rich, I'd be getting me a Fallkniven or eight.

I say Go the Fall.
a Seatbelt cutter/glass smasher/torch multi costs around $8 from the local AllStore - that should calm your Safety nerves, and then you've got moneys left over for a fancy knife.

That is a pretty thing aint it? Unfortunatly like Nomad I am a hard User and that blade for me looks too  pretty. However taht doesnt mean the ting would not make it into my drawer.

I would be very interested in seing a review here of this blade, and a ton of photos. :pok:

As noted by Viking, the thickness is 0.098", or just a hair over 3/32".  That blade's laminate powdered steel. I'd like to see how well it cuts and holds an edge. Looks like nothing fancy, but then again some of the best tools are like that.

Does anyone know the thickness of the knife, meaning the handle and blade?

Well, as it turns out, I ended up spending my small chunk of extra money on a purchase from my favorite music store. I got a new leather valve guard, some extra-heavy valve caps, a tone enhancer, and a new mouthpiece pouch. I also got two new Dixieland books!  :D

I still have my eye on the U2 though, although recently my interest has been piqued by the Benchmade Mini-Griptilian.  :ahhh

I have been eyeing up a U-2 as well.  I really want a Fallkniven knife but I am waiting to sell my old golf clubs before I buy one.  I'll more than likely buy the u2 but I may get one of the more fancy models.

Ha, yeah.

I'm looking at the one with a modified sheepsfoot blade (one of my favorites) which has a thumb hole rather than a stud. Like the one second from the bottom in that picture.
