Taiwan Ax

This little chap is made in Taiwan 

 

Stripped off the paint and wrapped the head in kitchen towel with vinegar overnight
Then added coat of Van dyke stain 



You can see the Hamon in the patina

Wish i could make that mate,but kids all off and i work a friday night, plus sadly money is a little tight, one day mate ill get to a meet with some chopper

Thanks Guys  I believe these are occasionally available from Argos for less than a fiver but I might getting confused 


Have to add I was quite surprised to see the hamon appear
