Just bought some and thought it deserved it's own thread. It's on the way and I hope it works as good as all the reviews I have read. I'll update the thread as necessary. Any one else ever used this stuff?
If I remember correctly, wait, what was I saying?

A dedicated thread is cool  :tu:

I was showing how mine turned out, I found it almost too sticky/soft I think next time I will open the packet roll it around a bit and leave it for half an hour before use

But it is some useful stuff

I only used some small samples to make feet for a stool and a cable holder for my headphone by the TV. Didn't seem too bad to work with except it was a little "greasy"... just make sure you don't let it go out of date!

I am planning on using it to fix a shoe. Shoe goo didn't even hold it ugh. So this stuff is supposed to be good for lots of things. We will find out ;)

Ok here's an update. I received the small baggies of sugru. At first thought it just looked like playdoh, but man this stuff is great! Pics :)
Before sugru

And after :)

After one long day at work, and lots of walking about. This stuff is on tight. I've tried superglue, shoe goo, goop, and lots of other stuff. This is by far the best stuff I've ever used, at least on shoes anyway.

Ok here's another update. After a week of moving about, twisting, turning, and walking countless steps. This stuff is still as good as the day I put it on! I totally recommend this stuff to anyone. I'm very particular about saying that, but this stuff has earned it! Great stuff sugru!

It's still going strong! I thought it had pulled loose, but it was the stitching that came loose. This stuff is super strong!

Bumping this thread. Still going strong. Not even a sign of letting go. I'd say this stuff is worth it's weight in gold :)

I've been using Sugru since 2010, and some of the original fixes I made with it out of my first packet are still going strong today.

Got my order of this stuff today and already putting it to work. My daughter is in town for Christmas break and had the classic iPhone cord issue and Sugru fixed it right up. It's sitting on the kitchen counter now along with another car charger plug for my iPhone. The top of the plug snapped off somehow and I used the Sugru to hook it up. I'll try to post pics tomorrow but I've got a busy schedule so we'll see. Maybe a poke from Tom might help  :pok: :pok: :pok: me get the images on here?

Very impressed to hear how well it's holding - I think it's tougher than I gave it credit for.

I need to get some of that stuff. When I first heard of it I was like "hey that's cool", but now I keep seeing all kinds of stuff I could use it for. Which is what worries me - I may wind up having to buy bucket loads of the stuff once I start lol.

I have mine in the fridge which doubles its lifetime.
One complain I have, although, is on packaging: even the small packets have too much product for small repairs, which makes the rest to be spoiled.

You should check this if you don't use a whole sachet, works pretty well.

Pretty cool!¡! I had an opened one I put in a plastic bag and sealed it. I came back a day later and went to use it on another project and half of it was solid

Just used this stuff to fix my remote for my van. The key ring hole busted on the remote probably a year ago and I never found my roundtoit with that one until today. Lightening struck my brain and I thought; man that sugru stuff could fix that remote    Just waiting for it to set now so I can put it back on the key ring. First image is the sugru repair and second one is what it's suppose to look like. This stuff is great IMO :tu: :tu: :tu: :tu: :tu:
