Opinions of the Tac Tool?

I like the look and features but know nothing of steel quality, hand feel, etc.  The price is right!

I would avoid just about anything from United Cutlery if I were you.  They are the absolute bottom of the line manufacturer and they really only make fantasy art pieces for films and 15 year old boys to hang on their walls to scare their mothers.  Also, they don't use real metal in their production, more of an anodized, poorly hardened alloy of chromium and monkey poo.

There are lots of "priced right" options out there, and while I might be pleasantly surprised by these ones, with United's history I am very much doubting it.

I may grab one of these sometime to test out, but given how thrilled I have been with their products in the past I really can't recommend them.

I'm usually not the one who go for name brand stuff, but benchmade and leatherman makes quite a few similar tools, they run for $20 to 30, but you know the quality you are getting.

I have the top one, it's also made by a company "Fury Tactical". The idea and tool load out is great especially the nice bottle opener. But yah..it basically hardened monkey poo and elephant spit.

I knew they were thinking about investing in an elephant spit machine but I wasn't sure they were actually going ahead with it.  Good to know they decided to go for the upgrade after all.   ::)
