The Mantis BK-2B Bottleneck Knife is a collaboration between Mantis Knives and Hawk Designs. It boasts a bottle opener and a butterfly knife and it will attach effortlessly to your keyring with its integral handle/latch configuration.

Have you tried it? It looks interesting but in BF, at least, they have a reputation of being a bit "eccentric"...

My first impression from the pictures: Cool idea, questionable utility, horrible blade shape.

I thought that was the case with anything sharper than a spatula on your side of the North Sea anyway?  Folding spatulas are probably OK? :whistle:

I know bottle openers on pointy things aren't exactly anything new, but one on a butterfly knife?  That might be pushing it.

Why not just make the back a carabiner that also works as a bottle opener?

Not true. In California you can own and carry a butterfly knife or switch blade with a blade length of under 2".

The handles aren't free swinging on this knife.  No one handed flipping, need two to open.

Mantis quality went down hill rapidly past few years.

The handles aren't free swinging on this knife.  No one handed flipping, need two to open.

Mantis quality went down hill rapidly past few years.

 I don't like reading this.  I think my m24 vueja de is built very and I have been pondering getting another mantis.  Maybe I won't :(
