Had to wade through some knee high grass burrs to check an electrical box.

The Mechanic is perfect for pullin' the tough ones out of boot laces, frayed blue jean cuffs etc. Worked fantastic.

Used my Rangers fine screwdriver to open (and close after placing 2 micro cells) the battery compartment of the toy-cashregister which my daughter got today at her 5th birthday.

This happened under the eyes of my 3 year old son.
He rushed immediately going to fetch his toy-victorinox (http://goo.gl/zmjW4Q) to help his dad.

Used the tweezers from my Ranger to pull out the screws on my fathers iPhone. Could have done with a magnetic screw driver, but the tweezer worked well.  The microphone jack needed resetting, he dropped it and a connector came loose. Now working fine!

Used the can opener on the recruit to open a can of sardines after the pull tab just broke off the top. Then used the scissors on the classic for snipping off a hangnail.

Life can be so easy with a SAK in your pocket.
Don't get too serious, just enough will do.

I used the main blade on my Rogueneer to slice up some bell peppers and cucumber for a salad.  Trimmed a few whiskers with the scissors.  Used the awl to cut a foil seal on a bottle of sealing solution for the postage machine at work.  Used the metal file tip to clean a couple fingernails.  Busy day for the Rogueneer, or busier than usual at least.

:tu: Bravo!!  My first son (and my first child) is due in December.  I've already got 4 of the toy Vics at home and waiting (just in case he loses/breaks a couple).
Yes that's true, but I've been out to sea a long time.

Used the saw on one of my Huntsman to cut a hole in a speaker box so my neighbor could fix it after his kid broke it.

Ouch! After using it to cut banana chocolate bread, accidentally used my Spartan on my index finger while cleaning the blade. Deep, clean cut.

Just take it as a learning experience.  ;)

Last few days summary....
-Played with the magnifying glass as a macro lens for the iPhone- makes a huge difference
-Alpineer big blade to slice and eat cake :D (too lazy to get a fork)
-Tried the corkscrew as a back scratcher...a bit poky. Fish scaler does a better job
-Big scissors for mail and food packaging
-Small scissors and file for nails
-Toothpick*
-Scissors and metal file to smooth off a cut zip tie end

*Reminds me. when I was a kid, I read somewhere that you can burn the end of a toothpick to make it stronger. which I tried on the plastic SAK toothpick. I was not a smart kid.

Put a new battery into my Casio last night, used the can opener to remove the plastic support, small blade to loosen the retaining screw, the tweezers to replace the screw, and the mini driver to tighten the screw.

Funny enough,I cursed less doing this than sending a text from my 'smart' phone

Used the can opener tonight to help place nuts on the tactical rail for my new air pistol

Carrying my Red Pioneer this afternoon and I forgot something out on the porch...that old screen door slammed shut behind me and I was locked out with just my Pioneer on a kydex necker.  Jimmied the latch with the screwdriver/caplifter blade and I was back in, out of the 101F heat.

I used my Rambler Phillips today to change batteries on a bug sprayer pump.

Bit of a weird one: I was cleaning all the muck out of the spouting at my Mum's house. There was a particularly stubborn clump of grass up there that just would not budge. Out came the big Wenger Ranger blade to cut up the massive rootball that was growing in and around a bracket. Went through it like a scythe. :)

In other strange use news, the slider on a bathroom stall door got stuck and I had to use the bottle opener on my Climber to pry it loose. When I informed the manager, he borrowed my Climber to unscrew it completely, so double duty, I guess?

Used my spartan to trim off some rubber on a newly glued sole on a pair of shoes. Then opened a cold beer with the opener.
