Why not just use (clean) toothpick to do such stuff?
I don't want to waste a layer for a fork that is not a fork.

In the lobby of a posh hotel on a conference call to colleagues and using my laptop.
Battery on phone and laptop about to expire - No plug sockets near me.
I spy a brass panel on the marble floor and suspect it may contain a plug
There's some sort of sliding switch above the panel - But I cannot open it  :(

SAK to the rescue - It opens the panel and indeed there is a plug underneath  :o

SAK saves the day yet again  :D 8)

I've removed the silicone in the bathroom with my swisstool, the blade suffered a bit, especially the tip,  but it was of great help

I used mine to convince my wife she needs her first SAK.   :D

She asked to use "whichever knife you have today" for scissors to fix a hang nail (which we're both pretty used to by now).  It's been a slow process, but I've finally convinced her how useful it is that I always have one on me.  This time, she says "Ya know, it'd be nice if they had one of these with nail clippers, I'd keep one of those in my bag.  Yeah...nail clippers, nail file, scissors, even a little knife blade."

Imagine her surprise when I told her the name of her existing dream SAK.  Ordered it last night (in purple), already being shipped.  I told her we didn't want to wait because Wenger no longer makes these :)

^^^ Love it - Great story ^^^

As I keep saying no-one should be without a Classic/Keychain SAK.

I am not a big fan of clippers myself - Although I do have a Wenger 580 in my United Woods set and used it a couple of times - What a neat design !!  :D

That's the beauty of the SAK - It's not "One size fits all' it's "One of the different sizes of SAK fits all'

Thanks!  I agree, the clipper didn't really appeal to me enough to buy one.  But now I get to try one out, and my wife actually supports it, ha!

Haha, when I read this on Tapatalk, the line through wife didn't come through, I thought you'd married me to kirky.  Which, as I gather, would be his fault as well, but I'm glad that's not the case  :D

Either way, I'll tell the wife she's off the hook  ;)

I used the awl on my Super Tinker to open a shrink wrapped pack of batteries for my new electric toothbrush.
I knew my wife was a keeper when she transitioned from calling it a knife thingy to a multi-tool.

I need a new alarm clock. The Vader clock appealed to my stunted sense of whimsy, and the battery is held in by a screw in his butt.....

Used the small blade and awl on my Deluxe Tinker to clear out some chipped lacquer on the handle of my walking stick, and the scissors to cut some paper and tape to mask the rest of the stick off so I could spray lacquer over the areas I filled and repaired.

Would you believe I used the fish scalier.  I had to measure a soft ice chest to see if it would fit in a saddle bag on a bike.

I opened a couple cans for dinner with the sak on the left.
While it did work it wasn't that tidy and isn't going into my top three.

Yes but what it loses in function it makes up for in beauty. Very nice SAK. I would so carry it on special occasions.
