Climber in the cold
on: January 16, 2013, 07:29:41 PM
Just wanted to warn you guys.. don't use a SAK in the cold with wet hands.

I went over to a friends house this weekend and spent some time in their hot tub. That of coruse required something to drink.. And.. opening beer bottles (no twist caps here) with a Climber in -18 C (about -0.4 F) in the tub with wet hands.. well.. it stuck to my fingers pretty quickly..

Still, no big deal, I got it off and got a good laugh aobut it. :D

Might've been a better idea to get some other opener. (or to just be more careful and keep my fingers on the celidor.. :P)

Yeah.. but then again, it'd be better to have your tongue stuck to a SAK than, say a light post or something that seems to always catch kids..  :D

Using an alox one would have been even worst.

..and a wooden handled one would have been better.
