Can someone build me my dream LM?
on: February 07, 2013, 09:54:18 PM
Is there a modder out there willing to help me?

I lost my Charge TTi, and want to replace it, but figured since I had to spend the money, I might as well get my dream tool out of it.

What I'm looking for is fairly simple:

A Charge TTi, with twin bit drivers like the ALX, and a non-cap crimper head as per the Charge AL.

I'm happy to pay for parts, labour and all shippng, of course.

Anyone?

if you want to build your dream tool, I would encourage you to dream bigger!  :D  do you want a Rebar plier head instead of the standard one?

I'd be happy to help you out with this, but I have no idea what shipping costs are from the US to Australia.  PM me if you're interested, but if you get a better offer, I certainly won't be offended.  :salute:

Thanks! I'd never even thought of the rebar head.

The shipping from the US to Australia isn't that bad.

I'll send you a PM

I personally prefer the old style head but your taste might be different. Also, didn't you want scissors? I think you mentioned something like that before.

I did, yes :) but since then I've aquired a Micra, which works better for me than the scissors on the charge - but I need more bits without sacrificing pocket space for a bit carrier.

I found the cap crimper got in the way more often than it was useful - so I'd like a different head.

Breezy and I have a plan but it will take some more help from others:

Would anyone like to trade the remains of a Rebar (minus the plier head - or for that matter, with a Charge ALX head installed) for a set of Charge TTi scales?

This will save me having to buy a TTi for only the S30V blade and the scales. I can live without the blade (154CM's not that bad) but the scales are a must. Although if you have a spare S30V blade that you think would still be a fair trade along with the scales, I won't turn you away! ;)

If anyone can help, please let me know!
