Great one!! It just lacks some colors
I need to find a cheap used rambler to try myself (I'm still not ready to do anything on brand new babies!)
You kept a liner for the tweezers side, didn't you?

Nope no liner against the scales, not needed at all.

Then what are the tweezers clamped between? Did you line the slot up with the springs?

Fantastic jobs here by the way! Inspiring to say the least!

Yup the springs occupy most of the center space and the tweezers slide along that fine.

I think this is a pretty nice little piece that I just finished up last night.  :D  These are small SAKs but take lots of hours to get just right.

I didnt have enough room to dril a #51 hole to tap 2-56 threads normally used for the pocket clip install, so I used some 1/16th nickel silver pin stock to rivet it on and it's rock solid.

58mm Vagabond
Tumbled Ti-6-4 scales
Brass liner
Riveted on pocket clip
Copper cross inlay
Nickel silver tweezer nub

That looks like jewelry indeed. And... The smaller, the more intricate, the longer it takes, doesn't it?

I tried to get fancy on the front of this one and adding some grippy lines.  It does make the tool grippier, so I guess that was a success. :D

The brass liner is a nice touch.  Love the clip - no rattling around at the bottom of a pocket.

Plus you can use it to dangle your keys.

I knew I should have copyrighted the idea.

Built a little guy today... its been awhile but I managed to peen ok.  I used 0.003" steel shims which I kept in for the peening then pulled them at the end to leave some free room for the tools to move easily.

Yup brass cross.  Its tedious work to shape an insert to fit the tiny cutout.

I like the fact that it all ties up with the scissor pivot.  Very nice of Victorinox to do that for you.

This one has one interesting element to the finish work.  Its the first tumbled finished fold over Ive done and to get the inside area tumbled I only bent the clip half way for the first tumbling session.  Then it got reheated and I finished the bend and gave it another tumble session.

Nice touch on that one Robert...I really like the finish and the fold-over!  :hatsoff:
