Did the bending give you trouble?

The Ti is 0.070" thick but I sanded it a little thinner where I did the fold over.  It actually bends really easy if you get it hot enough.  My old torch was way too small but I got a new one that seems to deliver much more heat and does the job no problem.  I just clamped it and hit it with the flame and then a hammer get it how I wanted it.

We only use metric for long distances but all building, construction and machining is imperial.

So km, inches and pounds is about right.

Damned, Canadians aren't totally saved from Imperial units then

Still, that's kind of an issue to translate to SI units  without the risk of failing

(But looks like imperial units don't prevent your job to be great!)

Finally I started to machine 58mm scales today.  :D  Way too small to fixture the way I do the larger ones so I cut them out tabbed 5 at a time from 3 by 4 inch sheets.  Trying brass right now too.  :D

I really like that!  Super nice!  Can't wait to see how you do the pen scales, preferably without plastic.

So many tricks up your sleeve.

That's very nice!

The brass gives it sort of vintage appearance - "vintage" in a good way, it looks like some valuable and bulletproof-reliable little SAK.

And a wee brass rambler.   The hardest part of these builds compared to 91mm work is for sure the assembly.  I keep meaning to make a jig to hold those tiny springs in place but never seem to get around to it.
