midseason breaks suck.

I watched 3-5 eps... I skipped some of the dull moments I remembered and I entirely skipped the "stick fight teaching" one.

They are back to making the same mistakes they have always made.

I'll start on a positive note- it was nice to see Gabriel finally decide to stand up and do what needed to be done.

Except...

If no one trusts him, why did they simply hand over Judith to him and send him on his way?  Why wouldn't they have sent the blonde woman and her kid, who was obviously going to panic at some point to guard Father Cowardson and (more importantly) Judith?  That likely would have saved their lives.

Rick's hissy fit just about got everyone killed- fighting in the dark is a good way to accidentally shoot or hack your friends open.  You know, like when Abraham and Sasha decided to start their spray'n'pray session, into a crowd, in the dark.  Imagine if someone else had been coming to help Glenn?

I'm glad they had the sense to decide that Alexandria was worth keeping rather than hitting the road again.  That's about the only sensible thing they have done in a long time.  Let's hope they have the sense to build it back up properly and fortify it the way Woodbury or the prison was.

The rocket launcher was a cool idea. I just don't get how they could be so quiet as the rest of the gang didn't hear them. Or see him pop up with the weapon behind the truck.
