That's neat but I don't think the prongs on the fork look very functional, they are a little stubby and rounded.

You can kill someone faster with a freaking pen or pencil then anything that locks. But that looks kinda cute, yet really needs longer tongs! JR

Hi, everyone! Have used both the True Utility SporKnife and CRKT's Eat'N Tool XL. Here's how I found the SporKnife...

Well, the serrated edge is pretty dull, much like a butter knife, so no worries about unnecessary plastic surgeries when enjoying your meal.

The SporKnife's reach is about the same as the Eat'N Tool XL, but is far more compact when folded down and far easier to carry around clipped to your belt. The size of the Spork (The food shoveling bit) is fairly similar in size between both tools, though as pointed out, the prongs are slightly (about 2mm) shorter and rounder than the Eat'N Tool XL's. Both are pretty bad as a fork substitute, though the rounded prongs on the SporKnife has resulted in more dropped and wasted food.

The opening and locking mechanism is smooth.  :) The act of flipping it open is definitely one of the plus points of this nifty tool.
And no, it would make a terrible tactical weapon, lest your opponent ends up rolling on the floor laughing when you brandish the SporKnife

It looks to me like a lot of unnecessary bulk. A LMF Spork is much lighter, does the job better and you don't have pivots that could get gunked up with soup and such.
