dammit...alright! I ordered one. I've always told myself..."nah, those MTO fellas and their steel, tinkering toys, I already have more than enough tools"...then I saw the pictures and the reviews and the raving praises and man I found myself clicking "add to cart"...in this case the "buy it now" button

I'm in love with my Pocketwrench II! I use it a few times a week at work and anytime I'm working on my lawn mower.

Thanks again, MT.O for the great give away!

I ordered one of the cheap clones to try out.  Lets keep that to ourselves, okay?

I've had a Vanadium coated one for years, and Mr Whippy just included a Stainless one in a trade we did.  I was shocked at the difference, the stainless one is so much nicer than the coated one!  The SS one rides in my bag now.

You guys are making me want a pwII so much. but not sure I can justify the price for something that wouldn't get much use right now (not often I need a wrench) at the same time... so much want!

I just ordered mine. I was waiting for one to come up in the classifieds section but no luck. So one might ship from US (or is it China?), hopefully soon.

I reckon you're right about that enki. The newer PWII's are much better for use.

Love my PWII. It's a staple in my EDC kit. It works really well with the LM bit extender to give me a mini right angle driver.

The more I think about it, the more this seems an ideal mate for my EDC SAK... pair one of these bad boys up with an Explorer or Super Tinker, and I can see the combo being more useful than a Leatherman on its own.

And if I carry all three, I develop superpowers.

I have two, but they almost never see use. The box wrench design limits what it can be used on, pretty much just exposed nuts, of the hardware variety. Still, it rides well in a Leatherman sheath, and is light enough to not notice until you need it.

I bought my Pocketwrench IIs a few years ago during Christmas season when Lee Valley offered free shipping on everything.

This year, Lee Valley is offering free shipping from Dec 23 to Jan 5, but only on orders of $40 or more.   If you bought 3 PocketWrench IIs they would ship free.   :)

I've been slowly snagging them off ebay one here one there for around the last year and a half. I'm certain there is a hardware store or two somewhere with old stock gathering dust.    :D

This looks feeble alongside David's black/chrome vanadium collection, but I've had the stainless Burktek PWII for a while and I love it, such a great little tool, and always wanted to get my hands on one of the Latshaw black versions, purely for aesthetic reasons.

You just can't buy them over here, but after combing the bay for several months, this landed on my mat today. I love the looks, I love the 'Made in USA' packaging. Now the problem is I'm not sure I can bring myself to rip open the packaging and I guess I'm back on the bay again later, looking for a user version

That's an uncommon earlier version.  I wouldn't use that one.  :ahhh
