Definitely a New Wave. The OHO slot on the blade is the wrong shape for an original Wave (and the blade is shaped like a new one). The other thing to note is the file. Since there is no exchanger, its not a Surge.

Good catch!  :tu:

As a sidenote, one of my dream jobs is to be on Mythbusters, lol. Would be so much fun.

Not to mention the clearly visible lock mechanism that the original Wave doesn't have.

This might be an older topic but in the Season 12 episode 6 Tori is seen working with a Wave (at least the plier head was like that of a Wave) and Grant was using a Surge. At least that's what I could tell

I paused and rewound the episode a few times, I'm pretty sure Grant was actually using a charge AL (or ALX, impossible to determine). I could see the black scales and the rivet on the side. I'll have to see if I can get a decent screenshot of it, I have the episode recorded at home.

I missed Tori's though, I'll have to take a look. Good catch.

Well I was going by the size of the blade and thickness so I could be off

And these are from Grant. Looks like I was wrong, it really could be a Charge AL or ALX. The guy has really small hands or those are bigger multitools than I remember 'em

on a side note the watch is interesting as well. Help with identifying it would be appreciated

I'd say original Supertool. The stamp around the pivot is old style and it has inside opening tools as seen in the first pic. Also the lanyard attachment thingie at the right pliers pivot.

+1 on that. It has knurled screws with lanyard ring, and blade opening from the side opposite to pliers. I wondered if it's not PST, but it would have slimmer plier head so I'll vote original Supertool as well.

Saw these a while back.

Jamies Spirit:

Adams Wave:

Adam also used a different knife throughout the show. It looked alox and like a 74mm? I lost the better pictures. It has scissors as well as a blade.
