Reckon there is any chance the scales might ft on a Vic?

Why would you want to? The original scales can be bought for less. 3€ I think from most European Victorinox dealers.

Do you mind giving me a link for one or two of those?
I only know Swissbianco to sell those and they are 20$ a pop, plus shipping accross the pond: http://www.swissbianco.ca/products4.htm

Yes, the Stayglo are more expensive than the standard colors but you're sure you'll get an original part that will fit. ;)

Guys, I'm sorry for the stupid question  But as some of you may know, I hadn't had a single SAK before and received my first ones not long ago. So, a friend of mine (in another country, so I can't even touch the knife) thinks he has one, but I'm a bit suspicious it's a real SAK. It doesn't even have the SAK logo, though he said looooong ago there was something on the knife and he scraped it or something, tihnking it was dirt, so now he's thinking it might have been parts of the logo- he claims it's a really old knife. I looked through the SAKwiki list of SAKs, but couldn't find it. The awl doensn't look like SAK's..basically all the tools on mine look different. So.... is it a fake?

Made in China SAK copy.
And on this one at least - poor quality tools - Eg CS bends and scissors won't cut much more than paper.
And as has often been said -  Vic SAKs are pretty cheap (even brand new), but fantastic quality - Why go for a fake, crappy one!
Looking at the tang stamp is awlays a good way to check!

All parts look quite genuine.  No doubt the real thing.
But the photos show two different knives.

And that, dear Watson, is why I believe it to be a fake listing.

Except for the main picture on ebay, the other 3 were "borrowed" from Sakwiki.
The knife looks legitimate. As already mentioned, the numbered editions were primarily marketed as Militaria Set 2010 in France & Italy & limited to 199 in each country. Three models in military style ammo wooden boxes were offered w/OD nylon pouches: Swiss Tool Spirit, Trekker, & Sentinel, only the latter w/belt clip.
Later, they were marketed in Europe w/o numbers on the main blade. They can still be obtained, especially the Trekker (Trailmaster) & Sentinel, usually w/OD pouches.
The only question I have about this knife is the addition of the belt clip, but it could have been added by Vic.

I think this is more a knock-off than a fake, it never states it's Vic or Wenger, and even mentions:

This is a great multi function Swiss Army Type knife. (Maker of this knife not known other than it originated from China)

The picture seems to be of the original one, but it's stolen from this listing: http://www.ebay.com/itm/310578491002

And I don't understand why someone would say the item they received was counterfeit but only leave a neutral feedback leaving the seller with 100% feedback score. That's clearly a reason for negative feedback.

Look at this one. Even has the Vic logo.

Apart from the wrong tang and wonky scissors, it could fool someone...

Love this one. The description is great, it says:
