Death Stick Exhumer?  Did they get the name from the David Letterman "Top Ten names rejected by Dark Ops Knives?"

Cool looking tool though- I think I may have to check out my local Home Depot...

I bought a Craftsman mini prybar yesterday for $4.99.  It's pretty sharp, and the angled end makes it hard for EDC.  I used some weird stretchy tape (might be used for bandages) to wrap the handle.  I'm still looking for a "cheap" one to modify for keychain carry.

That's pretty much the same as the one I have. I simply cut the curled end off, drilled a hole at that end, smoothed the edges, and I now EDC it on my keychain.

I dig that Exhumer but methinks it might a slight PITA to EDC.  :D

I think the Exhumer I saw at Sears was about $10...and a rusty brown color.  I might buy one just so I can say "Hold on a minute, I'll go get my EXHUMER."

I've heard about exuming a dead body, but never about Exuming a buried nail.

It's a good design I guess, every nail I needed to dig out, I just picked away at the surrounding wood until I could get a grip on it.  As far as I can tell, theres a circular thing on the back of the bar you hammer into the area around the nail, tearing @#$% up!

I found this pic in my picture folder.  But I can't remember where I found it on the web.

 :o

I've redone my Avalanche keys to include a Victorinox original Spartan with a large serrated blade, a Fisher Bullet Space pen and an inexpensive Vaughan pry bar that I cut down to fit in the carrying pouch.
Why do I carry a 45 ?
Because they don't make a 46 !
