Better Late than Never- July Donation Draw!

Since this was so late, and since we are already giving away everything that isn't nailed down I'd seriously considered not running a Donation Draw this month, but that really wouldn't be fair to the folks that have already brought us to 44% of our goal.

Since we are so late this month I won't beat around the bush- we have an all black Leatherman MUT to give away.  This one is brand new, in the box and as minty fresh as any Leatherman tool can get.



The usual rules apply- we need to reach our goal of $275 USD by midnight (forum offset time of course!) on July 31st.  If we do, we'll pick a winner from those that donated ten dollars or more.  For each ten dollars you donate this month you'll get an entry- that means if you donate twenty bucks, you get two entries, thirty gets you three entries and so on.

This contest is open to anyone who can legally own this product, and who wants a seriously badass black tool!

For me it was the price, which triggered the donation (which was obligatory because of a deal, but I was unsure if this or next month. This leatherman however is so cool...I had no choice).  :D

My father just got a package a couple of days ago from California.  It was a GoPro mount that he ordered a month earlier.   :ahhh

I honestly think they have some sort of Cerebro device, so when they detect that someone is really excited for something to arrive, they slow it down.

The postal service really is a mixed bag.  I've had things ship from California later than something shipped from NY, and the Cali stuff arrived first.

I too have had things come in as little as a few days, or a few weeks.  Shipping location doesn't really seem to have a whole lot to do with it at times either.

Oh well, I'll just keep my lawnchair by the mailbox, and give the mail lady a big hug when it arrives!

it's not just the US-Canada postal system. I've had things take weeks to get here with first class stamps on, when some things arrive the next day. Norfolk seems worse than other places I've been but even before I lived here I've had a birthday card arrive 6 months late.

And I found a perfect companion to keep it company in it's sheath.


I have to say that this is quite a bit bigger than I thought it was going to be.  It feels like one hell of a tough MT that should be able to take a beating and just laugh it off!

Huge thanks to everyone that made it possible for this draw!  I'm in complete awe with this thing, and I am very, very glad to be able to call myself a member of MT.O!  :salute:
