Brandon Roy Micra

Who the heck is Brandon Roy?

I'd never heard the name before this fancy schmancy Leatherman Micra showed up. Not being a big basketball fan I had to google him in order to find out. Apparently he was a rookie last year for the Portland Trailblazers, and Leatherman cranked out a few hundred of these special Micras in his honor. The tool has aluminum handle covers, one anodized in red and one in black. (Trailblazer colors?)

Here's a couple pics:

Anybody know how young Brandon is doing this year?

Looks like the team's colors to me! :D

Interesting variant to the Micra- are you planning on adding this to the Multitool Encyclopedia?

Also, how did you find this one?  Just stumble across it on eBay?

Someone in my vast network of informants turned me onto it.  :D

Here's a picture of the advertising blurb that went along with it:

I wonder how good you have to be to get a Charge named after you! :P

Shaq's probably got a Surge with a Superman shield on it....

No they were not. 250 mailed to journalist plus a limited number available from the store. No clue what the final tally is though.
