Horrible name, but that seems to be the trend these days.

It looks interesting though, and knowing the way Nite Ize mass produced everything the price should be pretty good on it.

They could have put a smaller screwdriver or a philips in the round part, opposite the large screwdriver. Not much more material and it would made it more versatile...

Maybe I'll have to check with our good buddy Bob at Pock-Its and see if he'd be willing to do a group buy for us since he's a Nite Ize distributor.  :D

Anyone have more infor on these, release date or if it will be available in metric sizes too?

At $5 it seems like a neat addition.

Isn't that the brand that makes S-Biners? The packaging looks similar.
It looks like a Brewzer.

Honestly, I don't know what you guys see in these things.  You've got a SAK in your pocket, a Micra on your keychain and probably a Wave/Spirit/MP600 on your belt.

Where will you have your keys but you won't have your SAK or multitool?  Or are you planning on hanging it from a nipple ring?

Can someone explain the attraction of these things?

Well, with some designs, I like the thought that went into it, same as regular MT's. I can like it, because it has a lot of features crammed into a small, flat piece of plastic.

Another nice thing is the fact that almost all of these things are not only bladeless, but also just -really- un-dangerous looking. Perfect for travelling :)

I do get your point, though, and I don't really have any OPMT's (well, I do have my PocketWrenchII, but that complements an MT quite well, I think)

My favorite part of this tool is the price. A one piece tool anyone can afford.

I admit to owning a PocketWrench II, but I also openly admit I've never actually used it.  Seems like something cool to add to a Wave pouch, but I'm not really sure I'd ever use it.

I like the $5 price, but I wonder if I...and I'm speaking for only myself here, wouldn't be better off spending that money on an Eat'n tool.

Nipple rings? Sure, it's because they usually have a girl attached...

Reasons I like one-piece tools (I'll refer to my PWII) include, in no particular order:

1)  I like having (and have used) mine as a small prybar.  You can put a lot more force on it when you don't have a pivot to protect.

2)  It has some functions that my primary tool often does not, including wrench and ruler.

3)  It will generally pass security checkpoints, which any tool with a knife blade will not.  I have taken it on commercial flights on more than one occasion.  I did once have an overzealous security guard at a courthouse insist on keeping it (along with my SAK, but I expected that) while I went about my business in the building, although both were returned to me when I left the premises per standard procedure.

I don't like one piece tools generally ... but I like the look of this ...

It has a functional simplicity which seems to be lost on other tools. Many seem to try too hard to be different or cram in functions whereas this seems to have found the "simple but effective" sweet spot

I can't wait to see it and get some pics for everybody.

I'm still excited. This should be a good little tool.
