111mm Fireman logo question

Picked up a 111mm fireman but not sure about the logo , most I have seen are standard Vic Logos but this one reminds me of the one on the 108mm Fireman .... is this common ?

I have no special info about it, but I`ve seen it a few times. Still not extremely common, I guess.

I just looked at pictures for about 500 111mm Fireman knives sold in the last 4 years - none had this logo. The vast majority were black nylon. If you have one, and duder has seen a few, I would guess that it was something special ordered for European distribution.

That sounds reasonable maybe for the Swiss Fire brigade

The standard fireman



I dug out an old fireman and thought I would put it here with the other 2 knifes I have with this logo

Its a standard fireman though this one has a bail which makes it a little odd



And here are the two with a nice old spartan

And this is the Zurich fireman but no logo

The only "oddball" logo I've seen was a "V" over a globe, within a shield.  To my limited knowledge, that logo was used for SAKs exported to foreign countries where being a "nazarene"(christian)symbol could get you killed
