Nice one Microbe. :tu:  Did you add something to the head of that LED Lenser?

I added a wide rubber band on the head. The head slides to focus, and the rubber band gives it a bit more grip over the slick anodized finish. I guess in some way it protects the anodizing by keeping the head 2 mm away from anything I put it down on.

Sunday afternoon at home. Empty pockets, but my bowl of gear on the living room table is always close at hand if I would happen to be needing something.

Sometimes it is nice to have a slightly larger and fixed blade.

Sunny Sunday EDC. I thrown in a new item yesterday: an Opinel Nr8 Ebony from the Exotic woods collection.

Thanks Bmot. I wonder how long I can keep that Opinel's mirror polished blade look good. I will probably curse and swear when it gets the first damage.

Probably, yes :P

The first scratch is the worst, though, after that it won't be so bad ;)

You like traditional lines right, have you thought of the more upscale models of the classic opinel, in ebony, horn or maybe with damascus steel blades?

Hmm. The rack for my classic knives hasn't got enough room anymore? Should I get a second one? Then there will be empty slots again?

Huummm.....if you carry three or four on yourself at all times, does that leave you with enough empty spaces on the rack?

The ballpoint is an NOS (new old stock) Rotring 600 Lava. Cult objects in the world of designers, architects and the likes. (I am a web designer) Solid brass body, all trim in steel, coated with the lava finish, it feels and looks like a fine grit black sandpaper. A pen with quite a tacticool heft to it. I got it for a bargain price as some of the Rotring Lava models go for crazy prices. Writes smooth, feels good in the hand. A classic.

So, I should have not given my silver one away to a Coworker?
I owned one about 10-15 years ago, but I did not like it´s weight and center of gravity while writing, so I simply gave it away.

In hindsight, thre are a few things I should have kept a bit longer, but gone is gone.

It does have a bit of heft, I have to give it some time to see how the long time ergonomics are.

I pocketed the Skeletool this morning. Ir may not have as many tools and features as the Spirit, but its light weight, and the CM154 one handed opening blade have always made sense to me.

Actualy, he Suunto is a beater to. It had several new straps, and it had a new bezel and glass. It used to look very different. This is a pic from 3 years ago.

What bag is it? I've been searching for something smaller and non-tacticool for off days.

Hope all is well with the better half. :salute:
