The new guy got to play today.

Very nice.  Love the new coin pouch and the IMCO:tu:

And, of course, you can't go wrong with the Pulse.

Excue me digging a little in this thread.
I own an IMCO with a rusted spring, so I was looking for a new one. Well, I did not find any. Are there still IMCO lighters made? Or did the factory got closed down?

The factory got closed last year after 100 years of manufacturing these lighters. It was the second oldest lighter company in the world.

Sad news
But thank you for the confirmation, I did not find anything about it by myself.

So I now have to get the rust stopped in an IMCO TRIPLEX. Any tips on that? I think I will make some pictures and open a dedicated thread.

A friend from Vienna checked if out for me after the news was reported. I gave away all my spare IMCOs prior to that and by the time all the usual stores that stocked them were sold out. I'm now down to one Streamline, one Junior and one Triplex.

As for the rust, that's mostly Sparkies area but I'm sure he'd say to bathe it in vinegar. :D

What I've been carrying for the last few weeks. Emptied the pockets and added the small Case Logic camera bag to carry it all. Missing the Tilley and sunglasses as it's raining today non stop.

Sorry about the low lighting.

In honor of the Minimalist SAK Challenge, updated EDC for the next month or till I fail.

As if the SAK challenge (Waiter) wasn't enough, I upped it a bit and went full minimalist with the flashlight too. Peak LED Solutions 5mm Matterhorn.

Full carry for the next month with wallet and coin pouch, simple Mini Bic, Zebra pen, keys (lacking the Rambler and Quantum D2 :ahhh ), phone and Gshock GW810BD.

Looking back through this thread reminds me how much I miss my Zebra pens. Lost both the black and the blue one in the last few months. Only EDC gear I lost in years and it had to be both of them. :-\

Currently I'm carrying the Parker Vector rollerball, writes flawlessly and smoothly, pressurized cartridge and all, but I still miss the pocketability of the Zebra telescopic pens.

I ordered 3 in December 2010. Gave one away and lost two. Maybe I should order more this time.

Looks good Enki.  What's the silver flashlight next to the Micra in the first picture?

Thanks. But could you quote the post with the picture of the flashlight in it? I went back through the thread and there's no Micra in any of the posts.

If you're thinking of the one currently on my keyring, it's the Veleno Designs Quantum D2. Prior to this it was the stainless steel ITP A2, no longer in production, closest to it is its successor, the olight i2, but it no longer comes in stainless.

Guessing here, but I think he means the one next to the Mini a few posts back - Thrunite T10S?

That makes sense.

In that case, yes, it's a Thrunite T10S.

There is a bit more info on it in this and the following posts in the Latest Flashlight thread.

In BCNZ's defense; it's all a matter of scale.  I'm not certain I'd have spotted that as a Mini myself. :-[
