I do my best.

:D

I'm looking forward to adding this one to the carry options. I know it's not black but I always liked the shade of that Vic green.

Currently on its way to me thanks to a very cool giveaway that GigaHz did. There are still chances to win two of his mods if you guys haven't entered yet. :pok:

And the package from Thomas/lowtech also arrived today.

A Wenger SS Traveler to replace the red celidor scaled one I've been carrying.

(Image removed from quote.)

And the Richartz picnic knife. (Image removed from quote.)

I think this might get to become a permanent part of my carry as my "clean knife", the knife that I'll use if I want to cut some food stuff. :D

Its built quality is very good.

(Image removed from quote.)
(Image removed from quote.)

The knife is kept together by the cutout that you see on the fork. If you open up the blade, the knife is firm, but if you open up the fork, you can slide the two halves apart and use the two as a proper knife and fork set. :2tu: The corkscrew is a 5-turn one so it won't hold the eyeglass screwdriver, but that shouldn't be a requirement for a picnic knife anyways, right? :D

(Image removed from quote.)

The reverse tang stamp.

(Image removed from quote.)

And the set ready for use. ;)

Hi Enki!

I missed that until now as I´m still trying to keep up with reading what has been posted in my absence.
I´m glad you like the knives.

And for anybody interested, I do have another of those Picnic Knives with plastic scales I´d let go in a trade.

Thank you again for the nice SAKs. The Traveler has been in my pocket since I got it. Love the feel of the SS scales. :tu:

Some more pictures of the GigaHz mod. I think I'll call it the Cyber Locksmith. What do you say? :D

Side by side with some similar models: CT34/Cyber Locksmith/Ranger/Mountaineer

You can also see the change of CT metal that was mentioned in the new SAK thread recently.

About the same thickness as a standard Ranger.

Also, except for the corkscrew layer, smooth backsprings :dd:

Cyber Locksmith?  How about the Computer Hacker, or just the Hacker.  Whatever it is called it's a great looking SAK. 8)

I had lots of computers apart and never needed a metal file on them. :P Sometimes I wished for a big hammer and a blowtorch but never a metal file.

I went with the Locksmith part due to the 111mm Locksmith with long metal saw and phillips. And I've used the files on my SAKs and multitools a few times already on locks, padlocks and keys. >:D

Ok, that is just completely cool!  I have never seen a lock that takes a skeleton key before.  :)

Very nice Wenger. ;) And yes. It's one of my most carried and used SAKs lately. The Travelers have always been one of my favorite models and the SS scales just add something special to it. :salute:

The door is local pick up only. You'd have to pay extra for the dog.

Got the CR2 powered 47s Mini in today. And the little bugger is bright. :o Very pleased with the purchase, especially for the price.

Here are a few comparison shots with a few pocket sized items.

And a view from the top for thickness reference. Couldn't get the Vic rambler to stand so it's missing from the pic. ;)

I think this one might just bump my ITP A3 from my keychain and get carried in the 5th pocket alongside the Chapstick and MiniBic.

I haven't even considered removing my ITP from my keychain in 3 years so that's speaking volumes. :o

And the rest of the package from 47s and the Fiskars hatchet I got yesterday. The Mini came with two batteries, o-ring and some promo material, decal, ... they through in a pen too, nice one with a 5mm flashlight on top. Considering I bought it on sale, very nice gesture.
