Been a while sinse I turned out my pockets here, so lets see what I have on me today.

Some will note that I don't have a Gerber in this shot, but rest assured there is an Octane sitting in the top of my tool box that got a good work out yesterday. :D

My monthly update (I really need to keep this more up to date ).  Again I am not carrying a Gerber, not that my love for them is any less, but it does show I am a fan of good MTs, whatever the brand. :)

Well, that plan didn't work out did it?  :D  OK, so 2 YEARS after my last pocket dump I thought I'd try and do this again. :-[

In my pockets are:

Wenger SI
Wenger watch
LM Micra
Imco lighter (even though I no longer smoke)
Thrunite Ti3 NW
Ridiculously oversized key for car.

OK, so I've managed to break my bland streak and have been carrying some different things.  Back to my go-to Wenger watch but had a hankering for a traditional pocket knife so the white bone RR Canoe has made an appearance.  Gone is the Micra which had been replaced by the P4, though that is now rather redundant as I decided to pick out my Juice SC2 for a bit of carry time.

The torch is new; an Aleto something-or-other that I ordered ages ago.  Can't say I'm impressed TBH.  Sloppy as hell threads mean you really have to crank down on the head to make a connection, which isn't easy due to the lack of any knurling.  I like the basic size and shape, so I'll perhaps invest in something similar but better quality.

Cheers mate.  It's a cracking looking knife, isn't it?  :tu:  Bought quite a few years ago when Rough Rider were still pretty new to the UK market and were just starting to make a name for themselves.  No-one could quite believe the quality and price.  Of the fairly limited selection that was available back then it was definitely the one that caught my eye.

How thick is the Recoil, compared to a regular MP600? and how is the quality compared to the MP600? Ive always been interested by it, but ive yet to pull the trigger on buying one.

I'm surprised to see the Squirt replacing the Micra.  The Micra is pretty much the best keychain tool you can get.  Squirts are nice, but not nice enough to have killed the Micra.  :D

I'll have to check on the thickness, though I think of it as being a slightly more compact tool than the MP600.  Quality is good IMO, not significantly different to that of the MP600.

You're quite right.  However, I do like to carry and use all my tools so they all get a little pocket time no matter how infrequently. :)

Seems I thought wrong. :-[  Still not an uncomfortable tool to hold though.  I'm not sure I can recommend it as a great EDC multi, but if you're main use is the pliers then I think it does very well.

Thanks for the pics. I always assumed it was constructed more like the Flik, guess I was wrong.

OK, it's not the Recoil, but I am in the mood to carry a sliding Gerber so today I've gotten out my modified MP400.  Given it's not got a blade I've got my little Spyderco Grasshopper.  Light is provided by my old style Fenix E05 and time is being tracked by my Citizen Ti Eco-Drive.

Not too much has changed in the last few days.  Still carrying my bladeless MP400 mod, Citizen Ti watch and Fenix E05.  In my coat pocket I've been carrying a classic light (the Nuwai Quantum III) and cutting duties have been taken over by a Vic Excelsior.

Time for a bit of change I think.  Thanks to Poncho's thread necromancy over the last few days I've dug out my Pulse for a bit of carry time.  Those who know me will be bored of hearing how much I like the Pulse, so I won't go on too much.  Light is provided by the Nuwai Q-III that has taken up residence in my coat pocket and by what is definitely my favourite torch; the Eagletac D25A Clicky.  Cutting is provided by the Boker Tech Tool 1 and, while new, I suspect it's going to be a long term affair. :dd:  Time is being tracked by the best budget Casio MRW-200H

Quite a few changes in the last couple of weeks.  I got the battery changed on my Wenger watch, so that's back on my wrist.  Imco lighter is still useful on occasion even though I no longer smoke.  The Boker TT-1 is still sitting pretty in my pocket.  Micra is back on my keys as I split a fingernail last week and realised I didn't have any scissors on me to deal with it. :-[  Light is still my old faithful D25A Clicky.  The Kick is back on my belt for the first time in a long time.  It's a good MT....especially if you take the time to add a saw and some scissors.

A bit of change since the last update.  Forgot to add my Wenger watch to the pic but it's still in it's place of honour on my wrist.  Still have the Boker TT-1 for cutting duties.  I've significantly lightened my keyring by bringing out the Nitecore Tube and one we don't see very often; the LM Style.  My nicotine is supplied by a Kangrtech mini protank-3.  Full sized multi is my modified Kick with added saw and scissors.  New addition to my EDC is the Convoy S2+ with 16340 cell.  Super warm tint to it.
