I think it's about time I get another Gerber.  I really need a MP600, and an MP400, so I should try and get one of those.  I might have to look at what I have and don't use and see if I can come up with a trade.

I've wanted a MP600 for quite awhile now, but I have no idea why I haven't picked one up yet.   I think it's one tool that we all should own.

The newer MP600's are great as well, but if you decide to get a newer model I would look at the MP600 Pro Scout.  :tu: I personally don't own a Pro Scout (yet), but DEF turned me onto them. They have a Saw which the regular MP600 does not.

Someone please correct me if I am wrong.

If your looking for a older model the Mr. Pinchy is great!  :tu:

Either get the Pro Scout, or the MP400, they have scissors. :tu:

The Pro Scout has scissors and the saw coupler, and comes with a Remgrit saw.  It's probably my most-used large multitool.  :tu:  The MP400 Compact Sport is a great little tool as well, and also sees a lot of use.  When in doubt, gt both.  ;)  I saw the MP400 on Amazon for less than $30.....

Thant's a great score Capt'n

I'm finding the older models - not just Gerber, far more rewarding.

Enjoy  :tu:

I doubt I will have any more Mr. Pinchy's on the way any time soon, but I will definitely be buying more in the future. Just have to work out the whole money situation.  :( I wish I could/would open them though. It would be nice to be the first to fondle a New Old Stock Multi-Plier.  I have others to play with though.  :tu: I can't wait to see what YOU find at the flea markets.  :tu: I used to go to flea markets and antique shows and garage sales, but most of my flea market days where before I started (seriously) collecting MT's and SAK's. I think I need to start going again.

I feel exactly the same.  :tu: While I appreciate the tools we have now it just seems better craftsmanship is in the older tools.

Just got the Gerber Otis kit in the mail today. Dirty but looks to be unused. The pouch is currently taking a bath with my work clothes  :D

Pics to follow, if all goes to plan I intend to upload a group pic of all my 400's/600's.
