Yeah, agreed Gareth.

I started out using an MP400, but it was lost on the boat during a long regatta. When I looked at replacement cost, I turned to Craigslist and found Mr. Pinchy. What got me about Mr. Pinchy was it so well used prior to me and it almost has a hair-trigger when you flick it to extend the pliers.

(as a side note, when I bought Mr. Pinchy, I needed a sheath. From their website, I emailed Gerber about purchasing a sheath. In turn, they sent me a new sheath at no cost, and with no questions...how's that for superior customer service!)

Since the MP600 for all intents and purposes is essentially unused, Mr. Pinchy lives in my sailbag now, and for normal carry I really like my gaggle of Gerber Stratas, I'm thinking it's time to unload the MP600.

Other than my Multiplier, which lives in my car dashboard, I've not carried a Gerber in far to long. I though I might carry my Diesel but once I opened my MT drawer my eyes lighted on my Flik and the decision was made.

OK. First workday carrying Gerber FliK.
Used it four times.
Once I needed the phillips screwdriver. Didn't (gladly) need any reach, just four simple screws. It opened those, but the fit wasn't perfect. I might modify that tool later on, make it a bit sharper.
Used the knife also. Its pretty good actually when you punch a hole to a plastazote foam. Nice and prety clean cut. Of course it always could be even sharper.
Used the pliers also few times, thay are ok. The grip is fine. The sideplay lessens a much when you actually take a good grip of those.

Snow day home with my daughter today. Gonna keep my new Pro Scout handy but don't expect to get much use out of it today. Probably just some flickin' during nap time
