I havent found it yet.
Of the ones I own, although I don't carry it much, THE ONE is the Browning Obsession.Great ease of deployment, smooth, locks perfectly, sharp as hell, very low-riding clip, very well balanced.
The one....hmmmm I guess the Sog Vulcan or the CRKT M-16. Vulcan for now.sent from Nate's mobile

The knife that has come the closest is the Boker Magnum Padre wich is a excellent knife, but there is just something undefinable missing.
Kershaw Skyline, BladeForums limited run.

This thread managed to get me off my backside and address at least one of the issues I had with the Lockwood. Now I can't do anything to scale it down by 10% but I could get rid of the lanyard loop I didn't like. So a few minutes with a file and a hammer to re-peen the pin and I am much happier with the knife.
The Byrd Tern is great, but a little too 'tactical' for me to want to carry it all the time.(Image removed from quote.)
I'm still looking for it. For the time being, my One would be a 108mm Solo, though it sometimes feels too light in my hand.
