Target dollar spot have 9 led flashlights for a dollar so grab a couple to buy.

I dont use those on a daily basis but they are good to keep in random places in the house and you aren't tons of money if it craps out..

I knew my wife was a keeper when she transitioned from calling it a knife thingy to a multi-tool.

I also agree especially in the basement, I'm always needing a light and having to go upstairs.
