I must say you've done some very BEAUTIFUL work! I did a pair in carbon fiber long ago but think they would look better in Orange Curly Zebra Wood :think: maybe it's time for a change to match my Case knife! JR

I really like the 111 mm. Have you ever done scales for the 111s without Liner lock? Here you see what i mean.
The opening in the scale could be difficult, but in my opinion the new standing out liner locks make make holding the knife uncomfortable. Therefore i prefer the grey scale locks.

I have not done of those yet, and honestly, I don't want to even attempt to do one. It's extremely complicated and I'm not sure if I have all the tools. I have my own Picnicker which I might try to do scales for eventually

I think so too. A friend of mine thought about 3D-scanning a pair of new scales and then milling it with an CNC machining center. But i think this will never happen ;)

Do you need the knife or can you make the scales and ship them out? What would something like that run. What do your 91mm scales cost and do you need the knife for those?

I cant afford anything right now, but I just would like to know for future reference. You can PM me.
