Well, this is a rather odd item.

It was one of those late-night-had-a -beer-or-two bids that I won.

It´s a double sided Wenger cabinet. It´s got a storage cabinet in teh bottom, and 2 display areas where you can hang knives with magnets atop.

I´ll do some pics later today as I had to store the cabinet in my shop, not at home.

I´ll let it go for a case of beer on pickup or teh equivalent when shipping.

I can pack it to be picked up by a logistics firm.

I´ll ship anywhere possible at cost.

Of course you are welcome to come over to pick it up - It will fit any not too small station wagon, I guess.

Tosh?!  :D Wanna make a weekend trip to Germany? :pok:

I picked the camera up in the shop where it has been sitting since and I already downloaded the pics - after dinner they go up to Photobucket and will be visible here shortly after.

Hi Thomas

Thanks for uploading the pictures.

I'll take that no problem if bmot doesn't want it.

But it will have to be shipped!! Does it dismantle??

Also, don't suppose you have any contacts in the Czech Republic?? I'm after a wenger ranger knife from an online seller, but they won't ship outside of the Czech Republic.

Thanks again
Nick

The Wenger sign on top and the base with the wheels come off easily and leave you with a hunk you could pack up in a rectangular box.

I´ll weigh and measure the beast so I can estimate shipping. Won´t be cheap, I fear.

First service (iloxx) wants about 190,- without insurance... :(
I´ll ask around for cheaper ways.

This is seriously one of the coolest sak-related items I ever saw. 180 E postage is far too much though. Did you get any better quotes?

From Frankfurt I might be able to squeeze it in a truck but it's a loong way from Frankfurt to Koln...  :(

If there was a reasonable way to ship this to Canada I'd be all over it!

I did not ask for more prices, as no one seemed interested then. But I´m sure I could get it to Frankfurt (Main or Oder - we have 2) cheaper than 180,- €...

Too complicated. From Frankfurt (the Main one) I need to ask someone from our factory there to organize receiving it, paying for the internal package and resending to me by truck (and the guys there don't like me much), than from the factory here to get another van back to my place. So that's 3 trucks in total...

I asked some friends of mine who are in Germany next week to maybe pick it up, but it's 5 people in a Skoda - fat chance this would fit as well. Did you get a size/weight count? Maybe people can find some better shipping options...

I'm sure people here would throw away useless stuff like chairs, TVs, fridges and beds to fit this in instead  :D

I will take the mneasurements this weekend when I´m in the shop.
And it will not fit in a Skoda with 5 people already in it.
I hauled it back home in my Opel Vectra Estate - I had to fold the seats in my car and remove the top Wenger sign and the base with the wheels.

It´s sad that this is just collecting dust in the shop. If it isn´t gone until we move, maybe it will find a new home in our work room.
