Thanks for the warm welcome folks.

Whilst not a multitool virgin I have found them trickier to appreciate than SAKs due to living in the UK.  Knowing I can't casually carry anything with a locking blade can take the fun out of owning some of the nice tools I see :(  I've been carrying a P4 in my pocket for a long time now and have recently acquired a little Leatherman MiniTool.

Oh, and ignore Def's warnings, I'm really good to trade with and would never attempt to persuade you to part with the juicy parts of your collection  <blast, no fingers crossed smiley>.

Was asking myself about him the other day. Remembered of his combed SAK, a lot of good folks I haven't heard in a while.

Its the nature of forums-people come and people go.  Sometimes by choice,  sometimes not.  I don't like it either since we meet a lot of great people only to have them disappear, often with no notice,  sometimes under less than ideal circumstances such as real life problems.  Some folks just drift away.

I'm not thrilled about it, but that is life, on a forum and in the real world, and in the end, I'm just glad that I got to meet them (some even in person!) and have them share even a part of their life with us.

To paraphrase Old Bill:

Tis better to have forumed and lost, than to never have forumed at all.
