I had 3 SOG Powerlocks of various vintages.  That felt gluttonous so I gave one to my dentist.

My older SOG's delighted me, performed work for me and made me believe there was some innovative genius at the company.

My newer SOG's convinced me that the company believes that the real genius is in cheap production with zero quality control.  After the PowerDuo, it also taught me that I'll never own another tool or knife that says "SOG" on it.

Used my Switch plier to break down cardboard at work and used it to put the haybine in mowing mode(hydraulic cylinder) and used it to help fix a chain idler on a haybine today while mowing hay today after work.

So far, it has kinda surprised me what it can handle. Sure I wouldn't want to cut barbwire with it all the time, but as far as nuts and bolt and bending stuff, it really does a good job.

Used my Vulcan and Switch Plier to change a breaker out of a Nobles speed scub.
Also used the Switch Plier to cut some wire to make a jumper.

Nate, have you had any issues with the wire cutters on your SP2? I've used it on some thinner wires and it did have issues going through them, but the thicker stuff was a breeze

For the most part, mine has been doing good. I did have one type of small wire that gave me a fit. It had a lot of fibers around the copper. It took me a few times to get though it. You are right about the bigger wire. It cuts it very easily.

Awesome seeing people using unusual calibers!

How are you getting along with the PowerAssist?

Get along with it nicely.

.50 is what I have only ever seen. I didn't even know other calibers of muzzle loaders existed until a few years ago whilst doing research on the subject.

Changed the tailight bulb for a neighbor the other day and there was one bolt I couldn't get at with my Leatherman  I had my Paratool in the glove box and the angled pliers were perfect for getting at that bolt.  :tu:
