Got my M7 Toollet at the weekend.

Work carry, with Victorinox BO CC Spirit and Fenix LD09

Loaded with Vic bit driver and bits, Pocketwrench II clone, Danish Cadet and a precision flat driver*.

*doing a lot of work at the moment with small electrical control boxes that have tiny screw on the wire terminals

I'm still waiting mine. I intend to use the Shield 2XL as an EDC but ordered the M7 to go with it as a supplement, just in case. If I won't use it I'll keep it as a storage case for my precious Cadet and similar tools.

I received my pack today from Metro (Happy Birthday btw).

I placed all my current lightweight EDC inside the Shield and there's room for more. Now I'm on a trip, when I get back home I'll probably add the Crunch and the Solitaire, perhaps even a lighter and a sharpener.

Alternatives for the Spirit & Alox are Charge and Mountaineer or Skeletool and Swisschamp (XLT). A normal hex bit set should also fit. And tweezers.
I'll try several combinations. I used to carry much in the Mother of All Skinths, I like to have at least the option to decide what to have with me.
The Toolet fits inside the Shield when empty. I might put it inside the CatchAll for organizing freak's shake.

I kinda wish you hadn't mentioned this... now I need to order a Toolet.

great pics, btw. :tu: looking forward to seeing what other loadouts you come up with for the 2XL Shield.

I finally got mine yesterday after two months less one day. The build is nice but sadly I'm having a few issues with mine. I've reached out to the Skinth family and hopefully will figure out what is wrong. When I put the bit kit in the flap wont close.

What size is your Skinth?

Will it close with just one bit kit in it?

I have the Charge TTi and no it wont close with just one. It doesn't go deep enough in for the flap to fully close =[

Hmmmm. I was just about to email back suggesting the one bit kit. It seems that the one had the pocket made short.

The main pouch is your key!

That's the biggest problem with the button snap, they aren't really adjustable.
Why stop now?

Anyone have a current wait time?

Mine was right at a month.

It was ordered before Christmas though so I am guessing it is the busy time of the year.

Thanks bud. I might order one tomorrow but I need to plan on arrival time. I guess I can always tell my mail guy to hold it.

I waited two days shy of two months. My replacement is supposed to be on the way too. I'm pumped! I know that they were a bit behind for a variety of reasons.

That medium size seems perfect for larger SAK's.

Yep it's a Workchamp.  M shield fits it perfectly.

With either a AAA flashlight (Fenix LD01):

Or Mini Bic:

Workchamp is the Wenger Champ?

Could you fit a AAA light and a mini Bic in a M Skinth you think with the Workchamp in there?

Workchamp is a Victorinox 111mm.
Here's the Sakwiki page:  http://www.sakwiki.com/tiki-index.php?page=WorkChamp

No room for both the mini Bic and AAA flashlight.  I figure if you have a three layer or less 111mm they would fit.  I should have a Trekker (http://www.sakwiki.com/tiki-index.php?page=Trekker) arriving in my post box some time in the next few days so will put that with the light and Bic in the M Shield and post a photo.

Brain fart, forgot about the 111's.

Trekker pic would be good since that is the same as my GAK for the most part.

Trekker fits in the M Shield with a mini Bic and a AA Fenix E12 flashlight perfectly (Lots of room when I put the AAA flashlight in there so I thought I would try the AA).  A four layer 111mm would fit nicely with the lighter and a AAA flashlight I think.

BCNZ those are some great pics. Thanks for this.

So going to get one for my GAK with the added bonus it can fit some of my other SAK's and MT's in it.

Tweaked the M7 Toollet contents

4" Bahco adjustable, Mini Sharpie, 2mm flat driver and a Victorinox bit kit and driver.  Makes a great pocket toolkit to supplement a multi at work.

That's a neat little kit mate.  I'm a big fan of the 4" Bahco as well. :tu:
