Northwest Trails emergency knife.
on: February 15, 2014, 05:21:03 PM
I picked this cheap knife for well...cheap.

It does feature a built in bottle opener, a glass breaker, seat-belt cutter, and half serrated knife blade that came out of the box sharp which is always a surprise when I buy something this cheap. Oh and a belt clip.

That's an interesting looking knife.

What's the hook thing above the thumb stud for? Looks a bit like the Emerson Wave opener except its the wrong way round, and it looks like it could be used as a bottle opener except the knife would pivot open.

That is exactly what it is...you hold the knife so that the blade can't pivot open.

Have you tested the glass breaker and seatbelt cutter yet? If you do so, make sure to have it on video :)

Have you tried it yet? Maybe it doesn't open, even if you don't hold it. Do a carefull test and let us know.
