This new Gerber MP800 Legend just arrived in the mail.  I am going to apply its first coat of 3-in-One oil to protect against rust.

Thanks Mr H, it's funny this is almost something I could call my favorite OPMT, and I own a pretty big lot of them, some 10x more expensive.

For me the Gerber Shard presents a best price-to-feature ratio of any pocket tool made by a respected brand. Gerber EAB is my close second, but that one is few $$ more, though :)

Yea I decided to dismantle and try and get it back to its former self. I didn't see why the pliers aren't lining up yet, but wanted to try and stop some of that good Florida rust :). I will miss the ocean scent tho. We Don't get the salt water smell here in NM
